Effective October 13, 2026 · Last updated October 13, 2026
The short version. We ask for your name, phone and email so we can tell you where the next drop is and get your order to you. We don't set cookies, we don't run advertising trackers, and we have never sold or shared your information for money. That's the whole thing. The rest is detail.
This policy covers eatlinkup.com, eatlinkuplv.com and thelinkupla.com ("the sites"), run by The Link Up ("we", "us"). It explains what we collect, why, who else sees it, and how to get it deleted.
Only what you type in. There are no accounts, no logins and no profiles.
| Where | What | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Drop list signup | Name, email address, phone number (only if you ask to be texted), and your yes/no answer about texting | To tell you when and where the next drop is |
| Order / pre-order | Name, phone number, what you ordered, your chosen pickup day and time, and anything you write in the notes box | To make your food and text you when it's ready |
We do not ask for your address, your date of birth, or any card or bank details. Payment happens on Cash App or Square. See section 3.
This is unusual enough to spell out. The sites set no cookies and use
no localStorage, session storage or similar. There are no advertising
pixels, no Meta or TikTok trackers, and no cross-site profiling. You will never see a
cookie banner here because there is nothing to consent to.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for visitor counts. It is cookie-free and does not fingerprint people or follow them between sites. We see totals (how many people viewed a page), not individuals.
Running a website means other companies touch some data. This is all of them:
| Service | What it handles |
|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosts the sites and serves every page, so it sees your IP address and browser, as any web host must. Also provides the cookie-free analytics above. |
| Web3Forms | Delivers the signup and order forms to our email inbox. Sees whatever you typed into the form. |
| hCaptcha | The "are you human" check on the signup form. Sees your IP and some browser signals in order to tell people apart from bots. |
| Google Fonts | We load one typeface from Google's font servers, which means your browser makes a request to Google and Google sees your IP address. No account or cookie is involved. |
| Square / Cash App (Block, Inc.) | Takes payment if you order online. Card and bank details go to them, never to us. We never see or store a card number. Their privacy policy governs that part. |
That list is complete as of the date at the top of this page. If we add anything, this page changes first.
We have never sold, rented or traded personal information, and we are not going to. We don't share it with advertisers or data brokers. The only people who see it are us and the services in section 3 that are needed to run the thing.
We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Your mobile number and your consent to be texted stay with The Link Up and are never passed to anyone else for their own marketing.
We will hand over information if a court or law enforcement legally requires it.
If you tick yes to texting, you're agreeing to get text messages from us about drops, locations and your orders. Specifically:
Email works the same way: every email has an unsubscribe link, or just reply and ask. We do not pass your number or email to anyone else so they can message you.
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
Email privacy@eatlinkup.com and we'll sort it out. We'll ask you to confirm you're you, so we don't delete someone else's data on a stranger's say-so.
If you're in California, state law gives residents rights to know, delete, correct and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We're a small operation and likely fall below the revenue and volume thresholds at which those laws formally bite, but we honour all of those requests anyway, and we don't sell or share your information, so there is nothing to opt out of. Use the same email above.
Nevada residents can tell a business not to sell their personal information. We don't sell it to begin with. Same email.
The sites aren't aimed at children and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you think a child has sent us something, email us and we'll delete it.
Every page is served over HTTPS, the sites set a strict content security policy, and we keep the number of third parties as small as we can. That said, no website can promise perfect security and we're not going to pretend otherwise. Don't put anything in the order notes box that you wouldn't want sitting in an email inbox.
If this policy changes we'll update the date at the top. Material changes will be called out on the site.
